My Maine Coon’s name is Argentée, which means “Silvery” in English. I took this photo in April 2004, when she was just 2 years old.

Ma Maine Coon s’appelle Argentée. J’ai pris cette photo en avril 2004, quand elle avait seulement deux ans.

The texts of the English and French haikus are entirely different, because it is impossible to render the pun “out on a limb” in French. Les textes des haikus en anglais et en français ne correspondent pas du tout, car il est impossible de traduire l'expression “out on a limb” en français.

Linear A haiku: a fawn living in the fields

Linear A haiku: a fawn living in the fields

This haiku is entirely in Mycenaean-derived New Minoan (NM1), except for the word kasaru, which is Old Minoan, and apparently means surviving (drought), at least from context on the tablet on which it appears (Haghia Triada HT 10). I have transcribed it into ancient Greek so that it fits with the rest of the haiku.
